Correx® is the brand name for a dual walled extruded polypropylene sheet. It is sometimes referred to as corrugated plastic. However, it differs from corrugated cardboard which is made of three separate layers, corrugated plastic is a single piece, with two flat printable faces with open pipes running through it known as ‘flutes’. It is the size of these flutes which give the Correx® it’s thickness.

The preferred usage of Correx® differs depending on the chosen thickness. In its thinnest form of 2mm, it is often used for packaging. At the thickness most popular with printers, 4mm Correx® is used for small short-term outdoor signs and point of sale products. Thicker Correx® at 6mm and 10mm is generally used for larger forms of signage where the additional thickness gives better rigidity.

Triaprint, overwise known as Bubble Board is an extruded polypropylene sheet made up of three separate layers. In the centre is a cell structured core. The outer layers are smooth and ideal for printing. The cell structured core makes Triaprint extremely lightweight whilst remaining rigid with high compression strength. Triaprint is made entirely of polypropylene and is therefore completely PVC free. Meaning that Triaprint is 100% recyclable, making it a more environmentally sustainable alternative to PVC or Foamex boards. What is Triaprint used for? Due to its versatility, Triaprint can be used for a multitude of products including; Internal and external signage, POS and hoardings. It comes in thicknesses of 4mm and 6mm and its uses can be compared to those of Correx®
