Job Title – Large Format Print Production & Installation Technician
Length – Permanent
Salary – Subject to experience

Hours – Full-time 8.5hrs 8.00-17.00 + Overtime (½ hour unpaid lunch)
Location – Golden Cross, East Sussex (Near Lewes)
The focus of this role is Installations, however the successful applicant will be also responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment and ensuring high-quality output for a variety of signage, print, and display projects in the factory on a day to day basis. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and excellent customer service skills. The installations will involve all types of Signage nationally and Exhibition Graphics both nationally and internationally.
Work Environment: This role is based in a fast-paced production setting that requires hands-on involvement with printing, finishing, and installation processes. Some tasks may involve working at height or handling large-format materials.
Travel Requirements: Occasional national and international travel may be required for exhibition stand installations, site visits, and client meetings. A valid passport and flexibility with travel schedules are essential.
Physical Requirements: The role involves manual handling, standing for extended periods, and operating machinery. Candidates should be comfortable with physical work and working in varied environments, including on-site installations.
Safety & Compliance: Employees must adhere to company health and safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE, safe handling of equipment, and compliance with data protection policies.
Training & Development: Ongoing training is provided to enhance technical skills, software proficiency, and installation techniques. Employees are encouraged to develop within their role and contribute to process improvements.
Working Hours: Standard hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). Some overtime or weekend work may be required for specific projects or installations.

- Supporting day-to-day production and finishing work within the workshop.
- Operating and learning large format print and finishing equipment (training provided where needed).
- Applying vinyl graphics and fitted elements accurately in-house.
- Preparing materials and maintaining a clean, organised working environment.
- Supporting smooth workflow across multiple jobs and deadlines.
Installation & Fitting
- Installing a range of internal and external signage to a professional standard.
- Applying vinyl graphics to panels, windows, walls, vehicles and other substrates.
- Carrying out standard vehicle graphics as part of the core role
- Leading or supporting installations depending on project scope.
- Conducting accurate site surveys and reporting clear measurements, photos and details back to the office.
- Resolving practical on-site challenges confidently and safely.
- Representing the business professionally while working on customer premises.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
ESSENTIAL
- Proven signage installation experience.
- Strong practical fitting skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence working independently on installations.
- Good communication and problem-solving ability.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel for site work.
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
DESIRABLE
- Experience in large format print production.
- IPAF, PASMA, CSCS or similar site safety qualifications.
- Experience with more advanced vehicle wrapping (training can be provided).
